Power Flow Yoga will tone and strengthen your body, clear your mind, and leave you with a sense of accomplishment and empowerment. The dynamic mix of sweat and spirit that is cultivated in a Power Flow class will challenge you to step up to your edge and unlock your hidden potential.
It has three main elements: asana, the physical practice of yoga postures; meditation, the practice of focusing the mind; and inquiry, the practice of self-transformation.
The structure of the class provides a method, organization, and theme for each sequence of poses that are taught. The alignment principles are presented in a clear and concise way, enabling students to experience the power associated with physicality, movement, and breath. Power yoga practice will strengthen, stretch, and transform your body.
Students of ALL levels of experience are welcome, and options are given to both modify and intensify poses. The emphasis is on flow and invigorating movement.
This yoga class is performed as the room is heated to 95 degrees.
Please make sure to avoid eating a heavy meal up to two hours prior to class and arrive 10-15 minutes before class. Don’t forget your water bottle and a towel
